Description

Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client looking for a Property Accountant. The Property Accountant should have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and property-specific systems, as well as experience in accounting and property management. This is the role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced work environment that requires the ability to balance multiple responsibilities.

Your responsibilities in this role

  • Support the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls

  • Work up intricate account reconciliations and journal entries

  • Maintain payment schedules, including capital lease

  • Arrange monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting

  • Analyze and coordinating a variety of financial data and reporting it in a clear, useful manner

  • Support reconciliation, depreciation and fixed-asset ledger

  • Assemble reporting packages and financial statements

Requirements - General proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel preferred

  • Previous experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Multi-Entity or Multi-Location Accounting preferred

  • Experience with industry specific accounting software

  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required
