Job Description:

This position will serve as the primary research support to the Texas External Quality Review Organization (EQRO) Research Evaluation Team, housed in the UF Institute for Child Health Policy. This position will perform a variety of administrative tasks in support of the EQRO and day-to-day coordination of research project operations, including: Facilitating and coordinating the collection of data, including telephone surveys and other assessment instruments.

Duties Include:

Day-to-day research support to faculty and staff conducting telephone interviews with healthcare providers for a large state health services quality evaluation project. Facilitating and coordinating the collection of data, including telephone surveys and other assessment instruments.

Assists with project planning, timelines, tasks, and data entry for project assignments. This includes monitoring multiple deliverables for projects; monitoring progress of assigned tasks and ensuring that any issues are discussed and action points are created.

Assists in the coordination of data analysis, including monitoring survey progress and drafting regular survey progress reports; dataset/database management, quality assurance for data collection and accuracy of survey results.

Searching scientific literature using relevant databases and other sources; maintaining bibliographical citation data; preparing written summaries of literature.

Expected Salary:

$15 to $18

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or Associate degree; General computer skills including competence with Microsoft Word and Excel; Ability to quickly and accurately enter structured data into a database form; Ability to communicate clearly in person and on the phone; Experience conducting telephone surveys or telephone-based customer service experience; Ability to work as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with computer assisted telephone interviews and customer service experience preferred. Ability to write concise, accurate, and understandable summary notes also a plus.
