Job Description:

Administrative duties- Serves as the initial contact for Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD), greets potential constituents and visitors of the CARD, completes initial intake interview both in person and via phone, and enters information into the shared database. Monitors the digital request form spreadsheet for incoming online pre-registrations and contacts new registrants to complete the intake process.

Secretarial duties- Answers CARD phoneline and directs callers to the appropriate service or staff member. Participates in staff meetings.

Family Support Duties: Point of contact of Spanish-speaking families. Provides translation services for our website and dissemination of CARD information and interprets for our Spanish-speaking families to engage with our staff. Facilitates the Spanish-speaking support group. Networks with other agencies to represent CARD at interagency meetings such as Early Steps, FDLRS, FND, and other CARD centers related to Black/African-American task force with FAU CARD and the Cafecito and LUPA Groups with USF CARD.

Expected Salary:

$18.00 - $20.00

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor degree with experience with persons with disabilities, professional literature, and data collection and management.

Bilingual speaking (Spanish)
