Job Overview

The Sr. Compensation Manager leads the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, policies, and procedures. This role is responsible for managing compensation functions, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, incentive plan design, and compensation recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze compensation data to provide recommendations to Talent partners and business leaders regarding suitable compensation for new hires, promotional increases, and other related matters.

  • Conduct job evaluations to determine the appropriate job grade, title, FLSA status, and other compensation elements, ensuring consistency across the organization.

  • Lead the annual merit, and short-term incentive processes. Maintain merit and incentive budget data for quarterly reporting to finance.

  • Perform year-end activities including annual equity review, merit budget calculations and compensation audits.

  • Launch year-end merit and bonus planning process from a systems perspective.

  • Manage compensation related projects in support of the Total Rewards team; partners closely with regional counterparts to ensure global consistency across the organization

  • Maintains compensation related data in HRIS; job profiles, job titles, exemption status, etc.; processes off-cycle compensation changes

  • Support the development, coordination, and distribution of compensation communications.

  • Stay on top of ever-changing local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding compensation and pay equity. This includes the FLSA, Equal Pay Act, ADA, minimum wage requirements, overtime regulations, and more.

  • Creates compensation statements on an ad-hoc basis.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of seven years’ (7+) experience in Compensation required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent is required.

Preferred

  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification preferred

  • Experience in Workday is preferred
