About the role This position is responsible for the recruitment process, employee relations, performance management, employee counseling and training, and administering employee programs, which includes employee benefits programs. This position provides HR support to managers and employees within the site location. Responsibilities Support the recruitment process including job postings, resume review, interviewing, reference checks, offer letters, and entire onboarding process. Assists in administering transfers, promotions, discipline & terminations, ensuring compliance with company policy and applicable law. Conducts exit interviews and provides feedback to management. Assist with performance management process; provide feedback and / or recommendations to management on employee performance reviews. Maintains the accuracy and confidentiality of employee information. May develop and/or facilitate training programs at location. May serve as backup for payroll Local Functions NS (Network Solutions): Partners with leadership to align HR strategy to business strategy. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions; programs and policies. Leads and/or supports annual HR cycle deliverables to include performance management; merit and bonus awards; benefits enrollment; etc. Assess and anticipate human resources-related needs. Collaborate with colleagues in the human resources department to develop policies, programs, and solutions. Mediate and resolve employee relations issues; conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary. Find ways to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention Qualifications Working knowledge of employment law, federal and state regulations Must have experience working with Applicant Tracking and HRIS systems Must have a strong sense of urgency, and ability to maintain high ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with sensitive issues Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and multi-task Strong organizational and analytical skills Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Bilingual, English and Spanish, preferred Education & Experience Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management, business or related field required Minimum 3 years Human Resources Generalist experience required Travel Minimal travel, such as, travel when appropriate to various HR related conferences and/or trainings.
