Catholic Charities is hiring for CFRC CYO Mentor - Part Time

Job title: CFRC CYO Mentor - part time, 20 hours per week Department/Group: Youth Services

Qualifications and Education Requirements: - HS Diploma/equivalency & experience working with youth - Effective communication (oral and written) - Interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills - Responsible, self-motivated, and capable of handling multiple tasks - Working knowledge of computer and Microsoft Word

Duties and Responsibilities: - To provide mentoring and role modeling to youth attending after school drop-in center and summer recreation programming - Overseeing and organizing activities in a gym setting, small group, one on one, events, or other recreational activities - Serving and tracking up to two regulated meals daily - Maintain electronic records on each applicant, event, and group provided - Assist and preform other duties as assigned and as are applicable to the position

Additional Expectations - Must have valid NYS Driver's License, an acceptable driving record and adequate insurance - Must comply with all Agency policies and procedures - Required to understand and abide by the laws, regulations, policies, and procedures that apply to the program or services that you provide - Required to report any known or suspected violations of the laws, regulations, policies, or procedures relating to programs, services, agency operations or personnel of the agency - Required to maintain accurate documentation including, but not limited to, purchase orders, petty cash, expenditures, milage records, and time sheets. - Attend all trainings as necessary for job duties - NYS, OMIG, LENS, VIRTUS background check clearances
