Davis-Standard has an immediate opening in the Fulton, New York location for a Machining Assembler on the 1st/2nd shift!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Duties require accurate fitting, alignment and adjustment to very close tolerances and strict inspections. -Complete floor layout from machine line drawings -Test complete products or subassemblies to meet exacting operating requirements. -Perform bench and floor assembly or a wide range of complicated mechanical and electrical-electronic control equipment. -Use all types of precision measuring instruments, hand and power tools. -Duties require installation or troubleshooting product in the field. -Make suggestions for product improvement. -Detect faulty operation, defective material, and refer these and other situations to supervisor. -Maintain good housekeeping in area. -Follow standard safety regulations. -Maintain check off sheets as assembly is completed -Complete documents for machine level and tram -Perform other similar or related duties assigned by supervisor/manager

EDUCATION:

-High School or better

RATE OF PAY:

-$22.65 per hour
