Equiliem General Maintenance Associate (24-03104) in Fulton, Mississippi

This is a General Maintenance Associate position with a company in Fulton, MS.

Responsibilities: Follow procedures to ensure equipment is up to standards. Make suggestions for continuous improvement. Respond to maintenance requests within established timelines. Inventory stock to ensure that supplies and equipment are available and in adequate amounts. Drive powered industrial trucks as required to perform duties (sit-down). Move equipment or supplies either manually or by using hand trucks or PIT. Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. Repair damaged equipment back to good working order by utilizing mechanical knowledge to problem solve. Operate and maintain a wide variety of mechanical tools. Electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of equipment using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools. Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures. Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management. Research, evaluate, and recommend new maintenance equipment and tools to enhance the capabilities of the maintenance team. Utilize Microsoft programs to process equipment electronically.

Qualifications: Ability to organize and prioritize work. Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally. Ability to effectively operate computers, tablets, and mobile devices. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Demonstrate general mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities. Knowledgeable in construction and building maintenance. Ability to work at heights. Will require some outdoor work, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures. Requires giving and/or receiving verbal and written communication. Requires using a computer keyboard and mouse to create letters, memoranda, and reports. Requires standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and/or squatting. Requires getting into positions such as kneeling, crouching, stooping, or crawling. Regularly requires carrying objects that are up to 50lbs. by hand. Comments for Suppliers: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm 1/2 hour unpaid lunch

Required: Hand and power tools. Electrical and hydraulic experience. Low voltage controls-a plus. Ability to use Microsoft office, Excel Outlook and Teams.
