ARSIEM is looking for a Java Cloud Developer. This position will support one of our government clients in Ft. Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Use leading-edge technologies to develop analytics, pulling data from multiple cyber sources as well as classic SIGINT.

  • Develop prototypes answering new questions as well as providing better answers to existing questions.

  • Develop new ways to represent the data using data science methods and automating analytic processes using machine language frameworks.

  • Work directly with the customer in a highly collaborative, integrated environment.

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and document big data cloud computing workflows.

  • Developing answers to questions via Java MapReduce, making them available via the corporate tool suites.

  • Research and work with multiple platforms for developments.

  • Work in a cohesive, small team environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • ​Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience or Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience.

  • Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position

  • Computer Science (CS) degree or related field

  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

  • Strong Java skills, developing software in Red Hat Linux (versions 3 – 5+)

  • Experience with Java Pig, MapReduce

  • Experience with technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, etc.

  • Experience with distributed scalable Big Data Stores (No SQL) such as H Base, CloudBase/Accumulo, Big Tables, etc.

  • Experience with Hadoop Distributed File Systems (HDFS)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of IP Protocols and Network topologies

  • Experience with GHOSTMACHINE analytic development

  • Experience with Jira, Maven, and Git

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
