Excellent opportunity for amotivated and highly skilled Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner w/RNFA Certificate to provide clinic, inpatient and OR first-assist coverageto support our highly trainedGeneral/MIS Surgeons in Fort Collins, CO.Qualified candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment andwork effectively within a team.

Qualifications:

  • PA-C preferred or AGACNP/ACNP w/RNFA Certificate required at time of application

  • (Documentation of successful completion of surgical first assistant training as a part of curriculum in their nationally accredited nurse practitioner program OR Attendance at a surgical first assist training course sponsored by ACE, AORN, ANCC, or equivalent as approved by the facility Credentials Committee/Medical Executive Committee)

  • Licensed in Colorado or eligible for licensure

  • DEAwith prescriptive authority

  • 1 - 2 years experience in an APP professional role (No OR experience necessary)

Practice Details:

  • 1.0 FTE

  • Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 (commensurate with experience)

  • No Call | No Weekends | No Holidays

  • Primarily clinic based (Bariatrics and Gen Surg) with opportunity for OR time in the future

  • Provide care from the initial patient point of contact to pre-surgical requirements, and post-op follow-ups
