IT Procurement Analyst, Federal Defense

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for DOD IT portfolio management analysts. Join a high-performing team of consultants with expertise in processing Information Technology Purchase Requests (ITPRs) and providing IT Portfolio Management support in service to a Department of Defense Combat Support Agency (CSA). This position is a combination of on-site and remote.

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship (Required).

  • Active SECRET Clearance (Required).

  • BA/BS Degree (Required).

  • 5 years of related work experience.

  • Must live in the greater Washington D.C. region: Virginia, the District of Columbia, or Maryland.

  • This is a hybrid position. Team members will work three days onsite at Fort Belvoir, VA, and two days remote (WFH). 

    Skills:

  • Review Information Technology Purchase Requests (ITPRs) submitted by a DOD client for compliance.

  • Use analytical skills and knowledge of Agency’s portfolio to determine if purchase is best approach to IT strategy.

  • Understand when SISO and/or SCRM involvement/approval is required.

  • Process multiple, unrelated ITPRs through the various approval stages simultaneously.

  • Strong communication skills are necessary to represent the ITPR team and communicate with the project manager to ascertain additional information.

  • Maintain the ability to think creatively for various ITPRs that will fall outside established standard operating procedures (SOP).
