Fiserv Technical Communicator, Tech Lead in Frisco, Texas

What does a great Technical Communicator - Tech Lead do?

A Technical Communicator - Tech Lead is a key member of a Product Documentation Team that develops complex technical documentation supporting the successful implementation and use of online banking applications across Fiserv. You will collaborate with experts in multiple disciplines, including development, implementation, and support functions, to develop and deliver content for a wide range of audiences. You will have the backing of a team of seasoned professionals who will work with you to guarantee your success. As a member of this team you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with development teams to write API, SDK, and developer cookbook content

  • Install and maintain documentation-related systems and repositories, including Windows, GIT, TFS, and Azure

  • Support other members of the Product Documentation Team in the use of our tools and systems to produce and deliver high quality product documentation on schedule

Basic Qualifications for Consideration :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

  • Three years of experience as a professional developer working with C# or similar language

  • One year of experience creating developer-supporting content, such as API or SDK content

  • One year if experience installing/maintaining/supporting servers and repositories such as Windows, TFS, Git, Azure

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Previous technical writing experience

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment

  • Work experience in the banking or financial services sectors
