As a member of our EXPANDING compensation team, the Sr Compensation Analyst is responsible for the analysis, design, implementation and administration of competitive compensation programs that are innovative, compliant, and cost effective to support the organization's philosophy and business needs, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Provides consultation, advice, and guidance regarding industry best practices in the field of compensation.

This position is based out of our Frisco, TX headquarters. Hybrid based - in office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Responsibilities:

  • The senior compensation analyst applies knowledge and expertise in compensation best practices to ensure the company’s competitive pay position to market while following KDP’s compensation philosophy and pay guidelines.

  • Collaborate with HR and union representatives to understand collective bargaining agreements and ensure compensation strategies align with negotiated terms.

  • Assists in administration of KDP’s Annual Merit Increase and Frontline Hourly Annual Increase processes in partnership with HR Technology team.

  • Perform complex analytical studies in a variety of compensation areas, such as internal equity, competitive pay practices, incentive compensation, and emerging trends. Recommend policy and/or program changes.

  • Participates in compensation survey benchmarking, input, and reporting. Partner with external survey vendors to ensure all requirements and deadlines are met .

  • Give presentations on compensation programs to management and employee groups.

  • Partner with other members of the Compensation and Human Resources teams in the design, development, communication, implementation, and administration of compensation programs.

  • Conduct research, evaluation and analyses of internal and external market research, analyze competitive position and market trends and make recommendations for base salary structures, promotional adjustments, market adjustments, new hire job offers, and/or variable pay programs, as needed. Prepare summaries and recommendations for market adjustments and special pay programs.

  • Participate in compensation projects as well as provide guidance and support to other Human Resources team members on compensation and related matters. Work may involve complex analysis of large data sets to provide comprehensive recommendations.

  • Provide advice, guidance and training to managers, employees and HR colleagues in the interpretation and administration of the organization's compensation programs and policies with a focus on service and designing programs that meet business needs. Develop and maintain effective, professional, and consultative relationships.

  • Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.

  • Assist with the development, improvement, and documentation of procedures to streamline processes.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field and 6 years of experience in compensation analysis, or equivalent experience and education required or a Master’s degree with 4 years of experience

  • Knowledge of compensation policies and practices, as well as federal and state wage and hour law

  • Experience working with hourly employees in a union environment.

  • Advanced MS Excel experience (pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas)

  • Experience effectively using a Market Data Analysis tool, such as MarketPay (or similar)

  • Experience working with an HCM application (Workday preferred)

    Successful candidates will also demonstrate these additional qualifications:

  • Ability to consult, partner and present compensation recommendations to HR Business Partners and leaders throughout the support organization.

  • Must have the ability to partner with Labor Relations to make solid compensation recommendations in preparation for CBA negotiations.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated ability in providing guidance and counsel to leadership.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; ability to handle multiple tasks, shifting priorities and ambiguity while remaining flexible.

  • Attention to detail a must and proven ability to use discretion in dealing with confidential information.

  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with various levels of managers and employees, and work in close partnership with others on the HR team.

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
