As a part of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible foroperating, maintaining, troubleshooting,repairing processing equipmentandperformingspecific preventiveand reactive maintenance activities for theprocessingdepartment equipment. Pay Rate: $27.22 per hour Schedule: 12-hour shifts Day shift: 6AM-6PM Night Shift: 6PM-6AM Shift schedule rotation between night and day every 6 weeks Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, weekends,and holidays Plantoperates 24hours per day,7days per week Your seat at the table will include: (Duties and Responsibilities) Followingall company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, including proper use of PPE Follow standard operating procedures to operate various pieces of high speed and/or high-tech processing and packaging equipment Troubleshoot problems with machinery and partner with maintenance staff to resolve issues Calibrate processing and packaging systems daily to meet required specifications Participate in start-up, change over and shut down of operating equipment Perform change overs and End of Run cleans including disassembly and reassembly of necessary equipment Be responsible for executing all required HACCP/quality processes and documentation Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives in order to increase platform performance Diagnose and troubleshoot problems in equipment operation Assists in training new employees Attend meetings and trainings as required Perform additional related tasks as assigned Leading with and championing human and food safety Your recipe for successmust include: (Minimum Qualifications) Must be 18 years of age or older Must have the ongoing right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship High School Diploma or GED Proficiency in basic computer skills Must be able to perform physical requirement of position with or without reasonable accommodation Must be able to lift, move, push, pull70lbsas required by the position Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time includingstanding, walking, climbing, bending, pushing,pulling,and twisting over surfaces Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms Willing and able to work any shift schedule, including nights and weekends, dailyovertime,or overtime outside of your regular scheduled hours as required (more than 40 hours per week) Ability to work flexibleworkdaysand hours depending on the season Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearingprotection, a hard hat, a hair/beardnet,and gloves when required Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions Willing to work around industrialhigh-speedmoving machinery Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment Experience working in a food manufacturing facility Demonstrated leadership ability Reasons you will LOVE working here: Benefits starting on day 1 (Medical,Dental,Vision) Vacation(120 hours) 401k and Roth 401kplan (with a match and automatic company contribution) Sick and Emergency Time Off Mental Health and Well Being Programs Annual BonusProgram Parental Bonding Leave Caregiver Leave Learning and Development Employee Engagement Events What's Next Due to our automate system and software, please use an active email address when creating your login profile and screen your spam and junk mail, as our emails tend to be placed in those mailboxes.
