City of Fridley Liquor Sales Associate -- Part-Time in Fridley, Minnesota

Job Summary: Provides customer service, stocking and cashier functions for the Fridley Municipal Liquor Stores. Scope of Responsibility: Efficient and effective sales transactions and customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Performs accurate and timely cashier functions operating the POS system and making accurate changes, ID verifications, sales, credit card verifications, Rewards Cards, returns/refunds, keg sales, etc. 2. Manages product in back room and on sales floor, including re-stock, inventory management, and cleanliness of shelves and storage.? 3. Performs required ID checks on customers and notifies management of violations and concerns. 4. Complies with all regulations regarding sales transactions and established procedures.? 5. Assists customers in product selection, advises on quantity of purchases for special occasions, and helps customers with carry-outs. 6. Processes and fills on-line orders. 7. Maintains store safety and appearance by performing daily cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, washing shelves, and mopping floors. 8. Assists with special projects, which may include marketing, social media, in-store events, committees and external events. 9. Complies with City ordinances and state regulations regarding the sale of alcohol. 10. Participates in meetings and training. 11. Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.
