For our Business Unit based in Fribourg and part of the Motion, Power, Sensing Division, we are currently looking for an

APPLICATIONS ENGINEER

As Application Engineer, you will provide technical insight, act as a point of contact for customer support, sales, marketing, and product development teams in the application domain(s) of expertize. You will identify opportunities, define, specify, and validate solutions, follow-up specific customer projects and provide specific training and support.

The Position :

· Address field issues related to the application domain(s) of expertize;

· Identify new features to answer market technical demands on the application domain(s) of expertize, liaising with product managers and development teams;

· Support development by specifying and validating specific application features;

· Provide technical feedback on customer specific features requests;

· Technical point of contact for sales, distributors and customers;

· Define and specify solutions for specific customer projects;

· Prototype solutions for specific applications and support their validation;

· Provide specific technical support in the application domain(s) of expertize;

· Provide training and mentoring in the application domain(s) of expertize;

· Manage and execute complex customer projects;

· Support pre-sales with the validation of specific solutions related to requests for quotation.

Your Profile :

· Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering

· At least 5 years’ experience in Field Services would be an asset, to be at ease to work cross-functionally and at a global leve

· At ease to interact with customers and to build strong customer relationship

· Strong team player and ability to work in a fast growing environment

· Ability to identify solutions and new opportunities

· Excellent communication skills and able to adapt his language to the needs of the different audiences
