POSITION SUMMARY:

Person in this position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Celebrating Families Program. Essential Job Functions include those listed below.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Celebrating Families Program.

  • Responsible for the administrative supervision of Facilitators assigned to the program.

  • Monitor adherence to the policies and procedures of the program.

  • Conduct monthly quality assurance reviews of the treatment case files to ensure compliance with program standards.

  • Facilitate educational groups, family groups, and assist clients of the program.

  • Responsible for ensuring facility compliance with health, fire, safety, and other regulatory standards.

  • Mediate client issues that cannot be appropriately resolved at the program level.

  • Ensure that the agencys systems for collecting statistical data necessary for program evaluation, planning, justification, and staff training are collected as required.

  • Fill in for Facilitators during times they may be unavailable due to illness, training, etc.

  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports as requested.

  • Assist and monitor data collection and statistical reporting and complete Quality Improvement reports as requested.

  • Maintain relationships with referring and supporting agencies and represent the agency at various community meetings as requested.

  • Must Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of WestCare Foundation; and

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish) preferred.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a criminal history background check.

  • As mandated by the State of California those employees who work at Residential, Outpatient, Sober Living, provide Mental Health Services, Administrative Staff or Transitional Living Facilities must be fully vaccinated and have received a booster. Employees that have requested a Medical or Religious Exemption, which has been approved by Human Resources will be required to test for the virus weekly.

  • During your tenure with WestCare there may be new requirements, including, but not limited to vaccinations that are issued by local, State, Federal, and/or Funders that WestCare may have to comply with. Should this occur Human Resources or appropriate personnel will inform you.

  • CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and an annual Tuberculosis test.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience consisting of a minimum two (2) years providing alcohol and/or drug treatment or recovery services is required.

  • One (1) year experience in supervision/management is required.

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field (psychology, social work, rehabilitation) is required.

  • Masters degree in relevant field (psychology, social work, rehabilitation) is preferred.

    LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

  • Alcohol and Drug Certification, in good standing by an agency approved and recognized by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is required at time of hire.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Work is primarily performed in an office or in a Residential/Outpatient treatment setting.

  • Some outdoor activities may be required.

  • Must be able to de-escalate situations in the program.
