Description

We are in search of an HR Generalist to join our team in Fresno, California. This role involves managing a variety of human resources operations, systems, and practices that provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture. The HR Generalist will be responsible for ensuring our company attracts, manages, develops and retains the employees we need to achieve our current and future business goals. Apply today!

Responsibilities:

• Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel

• Implement and update compensation program; rewrite job descriptions as necessary; conduct annual salary surveys and develop merit pool (salary budget); analyze compensation

• Develop, recommend and implement personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain handbook on policies and procedures; perform benefits administration

• Conduct recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary workers; write and place advertisements; work with supervisors to screen and interview candidates; conduct reference checking; extend job offers; conduct new-employee orientations; monitor career-path program and employee relations counseling; conduct exit interviews

• Establish and maintain department records and reports. Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings, such as seminars. Maintain organizational charts and employee directory

• Recommend, develop and schedule training and development courses

• Provide advice and assistance to staff and management on pay and benefits systems

• Research and monitor human resource systems in other organizations within the community

• Assist with the preparation of the budget for human resources operations

• Manage resume database and recruitment management systems

• Develop and manage recruitment and staffing plans and strategies and oversee their implementation

Requirements • Candidate must possess at least 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required

• Familiarity with HRMS is necessary

• Knowledge and experience in Benefit Functions is expected

• Capability in Compensation Administration is a must

• Understanding and experience in Compliance is required

• Strong skills in Employee Relations are necessary

• Experience with FMLA is essential

• Proficiency in Full Cycle Recruiting is expected

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
