Kelly Services Harvest Winemaking Samper in Fresno, California

This is a great opportunity for our Client E&J Gallo Winery in Fresno, CA. You owe it to yourself to consider this great new opportunity.

Fresno Winemaking Harvest Sampler

Days/Time: 6 days a week – Mon-Sat 5am-8am (may include OT)

Pay: $17.00/hr!

Work Timing: Harvest Sampler position runs from approximately Aug 1st - Oct 31st, 2021

This will be dependent on actual timing of start and end of 2021 harvest

Primary Responsibilities:

Samples need to be pulled by 8:00 am. Based on number of samples the time required to pull these samples will range from 2-4 hours in most cases

1) Pull wine and juice samples from required tanks as outlined by Winemaking Manager (or his designate) by 8:00 am daily.

2) Prepare bottles, organize sample pulling by area, and pull samples and bring to winemaking lab.

3) Ensure inventory of empty glass in all sizes is in stock at all times. Advise Winemaking Manager when glass inventory is starting to deplete so more can be ordered by storeroom.

4) Arrange samples in proper order for daily tasting (Will be communicated by WM Manager).

5) Dump any empty glass bottles located in WM lab bins in designated glass area near QA lab building.

6) Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

HS Diploma or GED from an accredited institution

Ability to follow directions clearly

Ability to use basic math and inventory control
