About theRole: As our Equity Officer, you'll report directly to the Commission andthe Chief Executive Officer, driving strategic initiatives to address healthdisparities and advance equity across our organization. You'll collaborate withstakeholders, develop policies, and implement programs aimed at reducingdisparities and promoting inclusivity.

KeyResponsibilities:

· Design and implement strategies to prioritizehealth equity throughout the organization

· Ensure policies and procedures promote equityand address health inequities

· Collaborate with internal and external partnersto advance equity efforts

· Identify root causes of health disparities anddevelop targeted interventions

· Establish metrics to evaluate the impact ofequity initiatives

· Provide leadership in diversity, equity, andinclusion training

MinimumQualifications:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Health,Public Policy, or related field

· Experience addressing health equity issues inhealthcare or academic settings

· Proven track record of implementingevidence-based equity strategies

· Clinical experience in managed care settingspreferred

Knowledge,Skills & Abilities:

· Strong understanding of administrative practicesrelated to equity, diversity, and inclusion

· Excellent leadership and organizational skills

· Ability to identify and execute successfulhealthcare business strategies

PhysicalRequirements:

· Close visual work at desk or computer

· Extensive typing and sitting

· Verbal and written communication with staff andstakeholders

· Occasional walking, standing, and lifting ofobjects weighing up to 30 lbs

· Reliable transportation for travel betweencounties and offices
