Description

Tyler Houk (Practice Director) is in search of a Director of Finance to join our team in Fresno, California. This role plays a crucial part in our team, with the main function being to develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and profitability. You will be working in a dynamic environment and will be instrumental in ensuring the financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability goals

• Collaborate with executive team to establish financial plans and forecasts

• Analyze financial data and trends to evaluate and manage financial performance

• Lead the annual budgeting process and align it with the company objectives

• Prepare accurate financial forecasts, including cash flow projections and capital expenditure plans

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure their accuracy and compliance with GAAP or IFRS

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders

• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements

• Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets

• Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them

• Oversee insurance coverage and risk management policies

• Drive operational efficiency by implementing best practices in financial management

• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial partners

• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

• Collaborate with other departments to support company-wide initiatives and projects

• Use vision and insight to influence and inspire others towards common goals

• Anticipate future trends and challenges in industry and the economy

• Identify opportunities to grow the business both organically and through mergers and acquisitions.

Requirements

• Must hold a minimum of 7 years of experience in a finance leadership role

• Demonstrated proficiency in Financial Modeling

• Proven ability to Analyze Financial Statements effectively

• Extensive experience in Budgeting and Forecasting

• Possess excellent leadership and team management skills

• Strong ability to develop and implement financial strategies

• Superior knowledge in using financial software and systems

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proven track record of managing financial projects

• Master's degree in Finance, Business, or related field is preferred

• Relevant certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA are desirable

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills

• Experience in developing policies and procedures for budgeting and financial management

• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
