ARAMARK Controller - Multi Property in Fresno, California
Job Description
Based in Fresno, CA. As the Unit Controller, you will be responsible for the preparation of financial and operating reports, conducting and documenting financial analysis projects. The Unit Controller will work directly with the lead operators at multiple accounts and enforce procedures that maximize profit by ensuring operational targets, internal control of inventories, cash, and equipment. Position is responsible for maintaining and executing various accounting processes and functions on a unit and regional level. Ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data and internal controls (AR, AP, revenue reporting, cash and banking, financial projections, and month end reporting)
COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position ranges from $70,000-$101,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if applicable to the position). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Job Responsibilities
Highly collaborative with leadership and communicate key levers to improve margins
Financial planning and analysis: create annual forecast/budget by venue, create weekly/monthly/annual financial reports for each site.
Accountable for Cash Flow, Cash and Banking, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Capital Expenditures
Weekly/Monthly reporting ? including analyzing and communicating to the corporation and operators
Audits/Contract Compliance ? including Cash, Accounts Payable, SOX and working with internal and external auditors
Maintain all financial records and reports in adherence with Aramark?s Business Conduct Policy and all local, state, and federal regulations and codes
Train and develop finance and operations teams on financial acumen and policies
Client Communications ? including systems, reporting, and changes to the program
Assist in operational support as needed with direction from Sr Controller, Regional Finance Manager/Director
As applicable, assist in the development of proformas for new business and revenue growth opportunities
Performs regional and account related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree required, preferably in accounting, banking or finance
Minimum of (3) three years finance experience in general ledger accounting, financial controls, reporting/analysis, and exposure to AP/AR processes
A strong knowledge of GAAP accounting and reporting is required
Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical skills,
Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel
PC/POS based systems knowledge of GFF, SMS, Micros, and Retail Pro is preferred
Some travel likely for site visits, training, financial audits, etc. (5% - 10%)
