Inoac Exterior Systems LLC Lead Fluid Delivery in Fremont, Ohio

*JOB TITLE: Lead Fluid Delivery                                  *

*DEPARTMENT: Finishing       *

*REPORTS TO:  Assistant Paint Manager         *

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Create, support and troubleshoot all robotic paint processes for everyday functions on the paint lines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Focus on paint process application
  • Complete all paperwork necessary for this position, this include PM sheets, Trial paperwork, etc.
  • Optimize paint robot programs to maximize paint transfer efficiency.
  • Visually inspect parts being painted in the booths and correct any paint application issues.
  • Assist and provide production support including training, developing work and technical standards and other related process activities to drive quality-based initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and maintaining of systems that analyze and identify defects and determine root causes.
  • Assist in maintaining color masters, approvals and inspection results for review.
  • Assist in maintaining certifications, SPC data, Supplier Performance Reports and evidence files for supplier control in the paint office.
  • Assist in maintaining X-rite information for tracking of color assurance.
  • Assist in coordinating trials as required for process/product improvement.
  • Own daily Datapaq review and maintenance of Datapaq equipment.
  • Interface with suppliers, production and customers in paint/process improvement.
  • Provide support with continuous improvement team activities.
  • Participates in formal improvement team activities. Supports all departmental and organizational improvement initiatives in order to achieve business objectives.
  • 80 -- 95 % of time will be shop floor related.
  • Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

  • Know and implement regulatory compliance requirements in their work area.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, use of hands to inspect parts, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, talking and hearing.  Employee will occasionally lift and/or move product.  Developmental training will be defined by the Department Manager and could be in-house or external to the company.
