ABC/INOAC SYSTEMS LLC Fluid Delivery in Fremont, Ohio

*JOB TITLE: Fluid Delivery                               *

*DEPARTMENT: Finishing       *

*REPORTS TO:  Paint Manager *

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Optimize paint equipment including robots, pumps, and paint applicators.  Replace paint lines with the paint robots and PM paint equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow technical standards, equipment and maintenance routines.
  • Keep spray equipment in good working order.
  • Responsible for proper labeling, transporting and packaging waste paints, etc. that are generated.
  • Responsible for using proper procedures for reporting spills and leaks if they occur.
  • Function as a technical resource for trouble shooting fluid delivery issues for support of daily production.
  • Work with Engineering and Maintenance on continuous improvement of new and existing processes.
  • Perform all preventive maintenance (PM's) for the fluid delivery portion of the paint lines and update documentation as necessary.
  • Perform inspections of all fluid delivery areas and processes as necessary.
  • Evaluate basic operations of the fluid delivery equipment and processes.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, start-up and shutdown tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

  • Actively participate in accident, injury and illness prevention activities by:
  • Identifying and correcting hazards and unsafe conditions.
  • Developing, or participating, in job safety analysis and safe working procedures.
  • Conducting, or assisting, in accident, near-miss accident or potential hazard investigations.
  • Keep other employees aware of health and safety practices and activities by actively observing fellow employee work practices and incorporating safety.
  • Maintain housekeeping in work area.
  • Maintain health and safety equipment in good working order.
  • Actively participate in health and safety training and demonstrate competency based on training received.
  • Participate actively in providing suggestions for the health and safety program improvement.
  • Know and implement regulatory compliance requirements in their work area.
  • Participate in formal involvement team activities. Support all departmental and organizational improvement initiatives in order to achieve business objectives.
  • Participate in IATF 16949-2016/ ISO 14001 activities or any other organizational certifications as needed.
  • Must participate in and successfully complete required training.
  • Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Manage

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, use of hands to inspect parts, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, talking and hearing.  Employees will occasionally lift and/or move products.  Developmental training will be defined by the Department Manager and could be in-house or external to the company.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Paint experience preferred but not required.

Knowledge of robotic applications preferred but not required.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Must pass Ishihara color test.

Proven good judgment and knowledge of paint applications.

Must successfully pass mechanical aptitude test.
