Meta Workforce Analyst, Mission Control Analytics in Fremont, California

Summary:

At Meta, Mission Control plays a critical role in driving business success by efficiently integrating financial plans, business priorities, and workforce strategies into operational plans. As trusted partners, Mission Control is committed to seamlessly executing Meta's workforce plans in alignment with the strategies defined by our stakeholders, policy-makers, and executive leadership. The Analytics team collaborates with a variety of XFN partners to develop a data driven strategy to supplement and report on the operational plans. We’re looking for a Workforce Analyst to join our Mission Control team. Mission Control Analysts are responsible for developing and maintaining all of the analytical resources and data tools necessary to enable workforce management of our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and analytical background.

Required Skills:

Workforce Analyst, Mission Control Analytics Responsibilities:

  1. Leverage design skills to build and maintain complete suite of user-oriented dashboards and meaningful, actionable data visualizations to meet workforce needs of the business

  2. Partner with program managers to define customer personas and their data, insight and reporting requirements

  3. Build relationships & influence constituents from support functions across the company and within the team to act on findings

  4. Work with data infrastructure, tooling and process teams to triage data-quality issues and drive long term improvement

  5. Approach and execute ad-hoc data requests creatively, identifying root cause needs and determine when discrete needs should be regular reports or dashboards

  6. Operationalize data migrations across all dashboards and reports, ensuring continuity of service and data alignment across resources

  7. Deploy Better Analytics Engineering principles to maintain team and partner alignment

  8. Perform deep-dive analyses to answer questions and deliver insights on the root causes of issues and make recommendations on how to best monitor and meet them

  9. Present all data and findings in succinct and creative ways using data visualizations for a broad audience

  10. Combine qualitative findings and other inputs along with data analytics to make comprehensive recommendations

  11. Collaborate effectively with other team members

  12. Demonstrate judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data

  13. Demonstrate initiative and strong attention to detail

  14. Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy especially in times of rapid turn-around needs

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years experience working as a data analyst, or similar role

  2. 3+ years experience working in Workforce Planning, Recruiting Analytics or similar function

  3. BS/BA or above in a technical field

  4. 3+ years’ experience with spreadsheets, Tableau and/or other reporting/data manipulation tool

  5. Experience with SQL, Python, R, VBA and/or similar programming language

  6. Experience with data management, specifically with validating and auditing data and reports from multiple systems

  7. Communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to senior leadership

  8. Experience with ambiguity and applying creativity to solve problems

  1. 3+ years experience with SQL (or similar language aimed at querying relational databases)

  2. Experience working in a fast-paced and demanding environment

  3. Experience with data and building things – making cohesive reports and structuring data

  4. Experience merging data sets from disparate sources and report findings in a variety of formats and mediums

Public Compensation:

$124,000/year to $176,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
