Sourcing Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the primary commercial contact for sourcing products and services while improving cost, sources of supply, and overall supply chain performance.

  2. Lead the contract negotiation process with internal partners and suppliers.

  3. Develop negotiation strategy and approach, acceptable terms and conditions, and lead the Facebook negotiation team through to closure.

  4. Own the interface to and lead engagement with suppliers for all RFI, RFP, and RFQ activities.

  5. Present RFx results and lead the evaluation of bids and drive the closure of a sourcing decision.

  6. Manage the communication with all recognized bidders.

  7. Identify key benchmark suppliers in RFx efforts.

  8. Partner to identify evaluation criteria and provide relevant data and recommendations back to internal Facebook team.

  9. Own and maintain market and actual unit and total cost data which feeds into total cost of ownership (TCO) models.

  10. Drive continuous supplier improvement in purchase price and total cost, including supply chain performance cost.

  11. Measure, report, and drive cost improvement as compared to market pricing.

  12. Manage the overall supplier relationship, and lead and coordinate efforts to drive supplier performance improvement in all areas.

  13. Lead measuring supplier performance, root cause issues, and driving improved performance.

  14. Own all aspects of supplier performance.

  15. Ensure appropriate levels of strategy, definition, and development of the supply chain (physical, financial, and information flows) in the areas of design, source, make, and deliver have been implemented to support released products.

  16. Become proficient in ASIC/SOC, custom semiconductor and silicon applications, and related use cases which require an in depth understanding of semiconductor and packaging technology.

  1. Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field, and two years of work experience in job offered or in a supply chain-related occupation.Experience must include 24 months of experience in each of the following:

    1. Analytical experience and demonstrated experience influencing and guiding teams to deliver results
    1. Improving supply chain and supplier performance, including the use of cost models and objective-based performance measures in the semiconductor/ASIC commodity
    1. Contracts, contract negotiations, and contract strategy development and execution
    1. Working with and influencing executive-level partners
    1. Understanding product requirements, and analyzing market intelligence and supplier roadmaps to develop sourcing strategies aligned with business goals
    1. Leading supplier relationship management by providing continuous feedback through business reviews, executive alignment meetings, etc.

Public Compensation:

$183,776/year to $196,020/year + bonus + equity + benefits
