Aerotek Production Technician in Fremont, California

Exciting opportunity available with innovative start-up company dedicated to producing climate-smart fertilizer in Fremont, CA

The ideal candidate will have a background or interest in science or have experience working in a production environment.

Shifts: Day and Swing Shift

Pay: $25-27 depending on experience level

Description:

  • Safely and efficiently manage the operation of plasma reactors according to production schedules.

  • Monitor and adjust reactor parameters in real time to optimize performance and output quality.

  • Regular maintenance of the reactors and associated equipment is performed

  • Diagnosed and troubleshot operational issues, implementing corrective actions and cleanings to minimize downtime.

  • Ensure that the produced fertilizers meet predefined quality standards.

  • Conduct tests and inspections to verify the products' composition, effectiveness, and safety.

  • Work closely with engineers to refine production techniques.

  • Suggest and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

  • Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and environmental regulations.

  • Participate in safety drills and training sessions.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Maintain accurate production data records, including maintenance activities and quality control results.

  • Utilize data to generate reports for management review.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, to support the development of new fertilizer formulations or production methods
