Aerotek Production Operator in Fremont, California

Description:

Responsible for quality, productivity and cycle time, as well as accountable for individual results, at assigned operations. Must be able to understand and resolve job related problems within areas of responsibility. Must be able to understand and react to Statistical Process Control (SPC); read and understand production reports and process instructions; and able to work effectively within a team environment. Must possess good communication, problem solving and computer skills. Must be flexible, able to learn and apply knowledge quickly, and capable of operating multiple tools within a production cell in a fast paced environment. Must be willing to work a 12 hour Alternate Work Schedule (AWS), and will be expected to work moderate overtime. The candidate will work in a class 100 cleanroom.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Manufacturing experience, or equivalent preferred. Must possess a strong sense of urgency, commitment, and be results oriented. Must have basic computer skills, including knowledge of Windows and proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Intermediate/advanced level of Excel a plus. Must be a self-starter and quick learner. Excellent dexterity when handling small parts is required. Must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
