InGenesis Medical Assistant II (12664) in Fremont, California

InGenesis is seeking a Medical Assistant II to work with our client. In this role, you will perform a variety of patient care and clinical duties. Responsibilities: • Prepare and stock examination rooms daily. • Prepare patients for exams. • Assist clinician in exam room as needed. • Assist with monitoring patient flow, including waiting times in the exam room, to ensure patient service in a timely manner. • Provide information and education to clinic patients, and assist clients with medical history forms as needed, and complete paperwork for patient referrals. • Take and maintain inventory of lab and exam room supplies and ensure timely ordering. • Comply with infectious waste procedures and control measures, and exam room and lab cleanliness as per protocol. • Work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and overtime, as necessary. Minimum Qualifications: • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required. • Medical Assistant Certification. • Current CPR Certification (AHA). • One year community health experience. • Electronic Health Record system. • Minimum 18 months’ experience as Medical Assistant This position is dependent on contract award.
