Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Freemont, CA is $215,197 - $278,900 per year and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Develop product and deployment scalability of the Questa Design Solutions products including lint, clock-domain crossing, and reset-domain crossing. Work closely with product development teams, marketing managers, application engineers and customers. Define product features and methodologies to address current and emerging design challenges. Work closely with product development and marketing teams to connect these challenges with current and emerging technical solutions. Guide large ASIC customers on design solutions methodologies and drive product rollout to evolve the next generation of products. Support marketing teams by performing market research, product positioning, and creating supporting presentation materials. Present and demonstrate the Questa Design Solutions products in conferences, seminars, and events. Work with ASIC customers to understand their challenges and flows. Maintain customer relationships and support customer facing activities including product demonstrations, training, evaluations, and competitive benchmarking. Develop solutions to solve customer problems based on insight into the customers’ environment. Oversee technical relationships with customer base. Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and training to a range of audiences including users, managers, and decision-makers. Influence product direction by gathering customer requirements and defining the use models. Participate in new feature specification, development, and validation processes to ensure the product meets customer requirements.

Requirements : Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Technology, or related field and 84 months of experience in the job offered or in an Application Engineer – related occupation. This position requires experience in the following: Programming using Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, TCL/TK, and Perl; Working with EDA tools, such as Questa CDC, Synopsys Design Compiler, PrimeTime, SpyGlass tools, Cadence NC, or Jasper; Working with clock domain crossing constructs and schemes; Performing static and formal based validation; Debugging RTL designs. 25% telecommuting is permitted within a commutable distance . 15% domestic and international travel is required.
