Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Fremont, CA is $127,234.00-$200,300.00 per year and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Debug and resolve complex semiconductor functional verification issues that arise during the design and verification phase of ASIC/SoC/FPGA. Issues fall under categories such as coverage closure, UVM methodology, testbench bring-up, race conditions, randomization, assertions, SystemVerilog/Verilog LRM compliancy, simulation performance, and gate-level simulation, etc. Ensure customer success by providing technical support for Siemens products such as Questasim, Questa Verification IP, and Visualizer, which are used in the design and verification phase of ASIC/SoC/FPGA. Drive initiatives to create and promote technical content on semiconductor functional verification, tool methodologies and best practices. Collaborate with R&D team to resolve product issues and ensure product reliability. Provide technical assistance to the sales team in executing their strategy to expand the product portfolio.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 12 months of experience in the job offered or Application Support Engineer related occupation. Employer requires 12 months of experience with the following:

  1. Working in the EDA or semiconductor field focusing on VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog RTL languages for ASIC or FPGA design

  2. Working with functional verification methodologies such as Universal Verification Methodology

  3. Digital circuit design and verification

  4. Working with Object-Oriented Programming

  5. Working with scripting languages such as Shell, Tcl, Perl, or Python.
