LPN, or Medication Aide Freeman Regional Assisted Living is seeking a part-time LPN or Medication Aide to provide care and support for residents of the Assisted Living. Duties include planning, coordinating and implementing of a health care program that assists in maintaining each resident’s highest functioning level with regard to physical, social, spiritual and mental well-being. These duties include assisting with the development of an individualized plan for each resident’s health care that will maintain, if not improve, quality of life comparable to that enjoyed by the resident prior to moving into the facility. The duties include performing routine services and personal care for residents of the facility, including assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL’s), supervising the self-administration of medications by residents, and administering medications to residents who require assistance.

Eight-hour shifts. Part-time afternoon/evening weekend shifts available as well as occasional shifts during weekdays, days & nights. Approximately 8-16 hours a week, including every other weekend and every other holiday. Potential for full-time status if willing to cross-train as a Nurse Aide or to Freeman Regional’s Long Term Care facility.
