Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Pipefitters for projects located in and around Freeland, WA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $29/hour based on experience & skill level plus $150/per diem for travelers of 60+ miles from the job site. If you are a Marine Pipefitter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

  • Build, test & commission piping systems

  • Form fit & fabricate metal & non-metallic piping systems

  • Layout, cut, prep work

  • Assembly of spools

  • Tack & minor welding with MIG & ARC welding processes for tacking piping systems together

  • Weld up hangers

  • Work with oxygen/propane

  • Utilize cutting torches & plasma cutters to cut pipe & plate in steel aluminum & stainless steel

  • Utilize scissor & boom lifts

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of shipyard safety practices; vessel terminology

  • Hand Tools

  • Standard PPE
