Our Direct Support Professionals empower the individuals we support to learn new skills, make connections in the community, and achieve their life goals.We currently have openings for full-time staff in the following New Jersey locations:FreeholdJob Duties Include:Supporting individuals in their individual daily life activities, including community outings/recreation events, cooking, cleaning, personal care, skill development, etc.Transporting individuals to their homes, activities, and appointments.Administering and supervising medication.Completing proper documentation.Ensure our individuals are safe, healthy, and living in a clean environment.Job Qualifications:Must be 20 years or olderHave a minimum High School Diploma/GEDHave a current non-provisional NJ Drivers License valid in the state of New Jersey with no more than (3) three incidents in the last (3) years.Be able to attend new hire orientation and training at our Freehold Office.Ability to pass criminal background check & drug screeningBe comfortable with hands-on hygiene care.Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong positive interpersonal skills are required.New Horizons in Autism provides specialized, paid training for all employees to ensure that each team member has the tools needed to perform responsibilities.
