Papa John's International Industrial & Controls Maintenance Technician-1 in Freedom, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Technician possesses technician training and has some experience or is already a multiskilled maintenance technician. This position is open to Entry Level or Seasoned Technicians. This individual possesses the knowledge and some experience to complete preventive and corrective maintenance for all production and facility equipment within the Center to ensure or improve production efficiency. The schedule for this position will be four 10-hour days Monday- Thursday and Sunday. Start time is 4:00 AM. Scheduled days may vary but will either be Sunday-Wednesday or Monday-Thursday.

We are a pay for skill facility. In addition to annual pay increase, as you progress in your skill set you will have the opportunity for a positive pay progression every six months until you max out pay. On the job training for all the following tasks will be provided in a one-on-one basis with experienced technicians.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

· Formal training or work experience with automation, calibrated tools, electrical repairs, mechanical repairs, and laptop to PLC interfaces

· Strong electrical knowledge desired.

· Base knowledge of pneumatics, plumbing, general contracting, PLC logic, basic mechanical ability, welding, etc. preferred

· Ability to read and/or understand written and/or verbal policy, instruction and direction in English required

· Skilled Windows based computer systems preferred

· Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints preferred

· Must be able to safely operate a forklift and aerial lift

· Occasional overtime for projects on off days or for vacation coverage; miscellaneous overtime to support daily production run (minimal)

· Experience in a trade apprenticeship and/or college education.

· Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on pneumatic, electrical, motion control and mechanical systems

· Troubleshooting using, Allen Bradley MicroLogix, CompactLogix, and ControlLogix

· PLC interface for diagnostics

· Advanced PLC skills a plus

· Assist with installation of new equipment

· Conduct basic electrical and mechanical repairs as assigned

· Assist with facility improvement and basic repairs including floors, walls, and ceilings

· Assist management with scheduling maintenance projects

· Support outside contractors with repairs/maintenance as needed

· Maintain accurate and complete departmental records

· This position will do some basic plant sanitation functions mainly within the warehouse.
