We are looking for an experienced Saw Operator for our Client in Fredericktown, OH.

We Offer Weekly Pay!! Bonus Opportunities!!

Hours:

Monday-Friday 6am-4:30pm

Saturdays as needed from 5a-11a

Job Duties:

  1. Read, interpret and analyze mechanical drawings

  2. Set up saw and perform forming operations to specified tolerances

  3. Operate saw to cut fabricated metal products per productions work orders and product specification sheets

  4. Determine proper metal and number of pieces to be cut per bill of material

  5. Determine proper cuttting sequence to minimize set up and change over time

  6. Operate controls to engage machine and remove finished product

  7. Observe machine operations to detect material defects or machine malfunctions

  8. Perform general machine maintenance

  9. Assure that area is orderly, clean and safe

  10. Perform quality checks for accuracy

Knowledge:

  1. Mechanical drawing demensions/tolerances, layouts, notes, symbols, and data references

  2. Saw machines and controls including their designs, safe uses, repair, and maintenance

  3. Efficient production processes, including quality control and safety practices

Qualifications:

  1. Quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine to exact positions

  2. Determining proper tools/equipment for the job

  3. Prioritize the tasks to be performed in a fast-paced environment

  4. Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance

  5. Be attentive to details and diligent to accuracy

  6. Ability to work with all levels of employees

  7. Follow instructions both written and verbally

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 1-2 years of experience

  • Must provide basic set of tolls. May be provided additional tools

  • Must possess a valid license

Pay Details: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
