BMT Aerospace, USA Quality Control Final Inspector in Fraser, Michigan

The Quality Inspector identifies products that don't meet quality standards. The role of a Quality Inspector is to use their observational skills to notice when a material, product part, or finished product differs from the blueprints. The Quality Inspector quickly and efficiently assesses incoming products at their assigned stage of production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review manufacturing routers to assure job completion
  • Request/Build gaging instruments
  • Perform final dimensional/visual inspection Perform first article "Layout" inspection
  • Process job close out Manufacturing/Engineering, Interface/Interact
  • Generate & process nonconforming materials reports
  • Other duties applied.

Qualifications:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 2-5 years' experience in aerospace or automotive receiving / inspection is desirable
  • Attention to detail
  • Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints, documents and manuals
  • Able to use micrometers and height gage
  • Knowledge of basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to influence others to follow rules and regulations
  • Strong leadership skills and teamwork mentality
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Dexterity, physical strength and physical stamina
