Milwaukee has famous breweries, major league Baseball, and the national championship Milwaukee Bucks What You Will Do: The Material Handlerwill participate in all warehouse activities and receive and process stock according to standard operating procedures. Help drive compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse Assist with inventory counts and planning Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to ensure materials or containers are moved. Opens containers. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas. Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys the load to its destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move it to its destination. Counts, weighs and records the number of units of materials moved or handled on the daily production sheet. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers. Loads truck for Industrial Truck Operator. Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together. To facilitate the movement of materials or products, clamp sections of a portable conveyor together or place conveyor sections on blocks or boxes.
