Franklin Investment Corp (Franklin Industries) INVENTORY and IT MANAGER in FRANKLIN, Pennsylvania

Job Purpose:

The Inventory and IT Manager is responsible for the accuracy of all incoming and outgoing products and supplies. Ensure IT needs of the company are met.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures
  • Collaborate with employees to ensure business goals are met
  • Analyze data to anticipate future needs
  • Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory
  • Establish and maintain continuous improvement (2 Second Lean), problem-solving (KATA technique), and Root Cause analysis
  • Maintain ISO 9001:2015 departmental standards

     

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as inventory manager or similar experience
  • Computer science background
  • Computer programming skills
  • Working knowledge of inventory management software
  • Strong math skills
  • Excellent computer and MS Office skills; proficient in Excel
  • Good leadership and management skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized

Working Conditions (if applicable):

  • Office
  • Mill environment (PPE required)
  • Some travel

Physical Requirements (if applicable):

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at desk, working on computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department
  • Various repetitive motions - keyboarding

Essential Job Functions:

  • Compile daily reports for the Yard, Mill, Highway, and Farm Departments
  • Document outside processor activity
  • Compile weekly inventory reports and weekly water usage reports
  • Compile end-of-month accounting reports
  • Direct and document monthly inventory counts for each department
  • Provide basic IT assistance to employees

  • Teleconferencing equipment
