Watts is looking for a strategic, results and people first oriented Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our Franklin NH facility. You will successfully manage large-scale manufacturing facilities, implement lean methodologies, familiarize yourself with foundry operations, and drive operational excellence. You will be onsite full-time in Franklin, NH, and report to the Vice President, Valves and Drains Operations.

You Will:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the success of both manufacturing and foundry operations.

  • Oversee daily activities, production schedules, and quality control processes.

  • Drive initiatives to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve resource utilization.

  • Champion and implement lean manufacturing principles throughout the facility.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Lead and support cross-functional teams in identifying and implementing process enhancements.

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of supervisors, engineers, and operators.

  • Set clear performance expectations, provide feedback, and foster professional development.

  • Promote a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.

  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to meet financial targets.

  • Keen focus on driving improved productivity and managing earned hours.

  • Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain and improve product quality standards.

  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to meet or exceed customer expectations.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field or equivalent industry experience.

  • 5 + experience as a Plant Manager in a large-scale manufacturing facility.

  • Background in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Expertise in implementing change initiatives.

  • Team-building skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear.
