WATTS Foundry Maintenance Mechanic in Franklin, New Hampshire

$2000 Sign-on Bonus Available

We are looking for Maintenance Mechanics to conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. Apply knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and apply skills in restoring equipment to operation. Provide experienced mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of Manufacturing.

You Will:

  • Plan and perform work requiring a knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles, writing specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of multiple materials, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment.

  • Install, start up and shut down equipment following company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and following OSHA requirements.

  • Perform preventive maintenance functions.

  • Perform other tasks. 

You Have:

  • High degree of precision working with minimum tolerances preferred.

  • High school diploma or its equivalent. Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or the equivalent in a technical field is required.

  • 3+ years of experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields are required and show high proficiency in these areas.

  • Millwright, heavy equipment or aerospace experience preferred.

  • A knowledge of electrical/ electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.

  • Will work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment, and especially will work and communicate with line operators to assist with repairs and troubleshooting.

  • Willing to work other shifts and overtime as required.

  • Computer experience/operation and PLC programming are preferred.

*Physical Requirements:

While performing the responsibilities of this job, you are frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. You are occasionally required to stand, sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. You must occasionally lift and/or move up 35 pounds individually, and 80 lbs. with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
