Countryside Chevrolet Diesel Mechanic in Franklin, North Carolina

Countryside Chevrolet is growing and currently seeking an Automotive Diesel Mechanic/ Technician to join our Auto Dealership. PAY: $20 - 30/hour depending on exp. SHIFT: Mondays through Fridays

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years' PREVIOUS Diesel experience is required for this position.

Qualifications:

  • Prior Automotive Diesel Technician
  • Prior Automotive Dealership experience required
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel vehicles and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Conduct tire service, including mounting, balancing, and rotating tires
  • Assemble, disassemble, and rebuild engines, transmissions, and other components
  • Repair or replace faulty parts and components
  • Perform equipment repairs, including welding, fabricating, and machining
  • Align and adjust suspension systems
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure proper performance
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
