**WANTED: CNC Machine Operator

Job Overview Responsibilities and Duties:**

  • Cleaning machine, tooling and parts
  • Keeping work area clean and safe, following safety procedures to the area
  • Reading and interpreting prints, planning sheets, sketches and other related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings and machining methods
  • Entering commands or manually adjusting machine controls to correct malfunctions or out of tolerance machining
  • Stopping machine to change cutting tools in machine spindles
  • Setting up machines or machining centers to perform various machine functions such as: cutting, drilling, and milling metal parts, utilizing knowledge of machine tool capabilities, machine ability of materials and shop math.
  • Transferring programs to machine
  • Mounting, aligning and securing tooling attachments and parts on machine
  • Calculating and setting machine controls to position spindle in relationship to part and regulating factors such as cutting depth, speed, and feed
  • Cross-training and assisting in other areas as needed

Requirements, Skills and Qualifications:

  • CNCMachine operations exp,
  • Demonstrated use of measuring equipment and tools
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to learn new skills
  • Problem solver
  • Team player
