For the US Region within the Medication Delivery Solutions business unit, this role will lead marketing for the BD Port Access portfolio of products as well as the BD HD Check System. Overview:

For the US Region within the Medication Delivery Solutions business unit, this role will lead marketing for the BD Port Access portfolio of products as well as the BD HD Check System. The individual will provide significant input into product line-related business decisions; play a critical role in key projects/initiatives, often leading project teams. Demonstrating marketing expertise through specific and set of skills and knowledge, e.g. branding, product development, forecasting is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops marketing strategies and implement marketing plans for assigned products to ensure the achievement of financial/budget expectations and product line strategies, including market sensing, market development and marketing mix.

  • Establishes and maintains relationships with US based key opinion leaders, prioritized associations and medical societies as required to stay updated on current and emerging trends in clinical practices, market, and competitive trends.

  • US Region Tracking, monitoring, and reporting in a cohesive and articulate manner account wins, losses & pricing adjustments -- and synthesis of opportunities and risks.

  • Leads drivers of demand for assigned product line(s) such as pricing strategy, channel strategy, contracting, and product mix.

  • Collaborates with Sales Leadership to provide direction on supply allocation strategy when needed.

  • Trade show and convention planning, strategy development and coordination.

  • Works with customer facing functions including, but not limited to, Oncology and Vascular Care Sales, Customer Service, Directors of National Accounts, Channel Management and aligns with, and where required establishes relationships with GPOs, Distributors, Territory Managers and other pertinent customers and partners to drive growth.

  • Supports training for new hires and refresher training courses as required by Sales Development.

  • Acts as the Marketing Core Team Member for new product launches and product / business development opportunities as appropriate

  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, projections, and necessary reports complete and on time to the relevant personnel.

  • Develop, and apply market analyses and market research where vital, and evaluate results to optimize the marketing planning process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years of business experience in the healthcare industry

  • Minimum of 2 years in product, market management or sales.

  • Experience in identifying Market Opportunities, Market Segmentation, Targeted Marketing, Customer Insight Gathering, Competitive Analysis, Pricing Strategy and Go to Market models and strategies

  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
