Job Description

Primary Purpose

To contribute to the growth of the Service business, improving the dealers efficiency. To enhance the Service leadership and technical expertise. To contribute to the customer satisfaction that will produce profitable business growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure dealer awareness of all procedures through training and periodical audit

  • Evaluation of the parts replaced under warranty during the dealer visits.

  • Actively participate in field problem solving situations as it relates to product performance and customer acceptance. Role may include new truck installations. In addition, evaluate reliability of product as it is shipped from manufacturing source.

  • Perform product service training on Hyster/Yale product through the dealer network (Service Mechanic Training).

  • Manage customer relations when significant product issues occur

  • Effectively communicate requirements for product corrections, modifications & improvements to service management & HYG PSGs (tight collaboration with PSGs)

  • Analyses on monthly basis of the warranty performances of the dealers supporting the warranty dept on warranty cost, rejection reduction and any litigation

  • Aftermarket Business Development: support the Commercial Aftermarket Manager and ABD and operate also as back up function

  • New dealer development on the Service side. To conduct all dealer development activities within the target date

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Technical background - Engineering degree or equivalent experience

  • Product knowledge – 5-7 years in technical service

  • Training and coaching skills

  • Strong Customer relation skills

  • Strong Operational abilities

  • Language skills - English + languages related to relevant territories
