Primary Purpose

This role will be responsible for developing 14 Grow and Defend Major accounts in the assigned industry for the Central region. Within this role, the incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Creating, managing contact and opportunity activity through NOVO.

  • Growing profitable year on year sales in all accounts in portfolio.

In collaboration with the bid team and inside sales team(s), this role will coordinate account activity and support bid/tenders when opportunities are identified.

Key Accountabilities

  • Account Management activity through direct customer contact and dealer liaison. This role will initially assume the responsibility of circa 14 Grow and Defend accounts.

  • Using NOVO to manage account strategy, activity and pipeline management.

  • Achieving bookings in the AOP year in line with agreed targets.

  • Attendance (remotely or face to face) at team meetings.

  • Development of sales experience through mentoring with team co-members and attending customer visits.

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Degree level, preferably in a business or marketing discipline.

  • 3-5 years’ experience ideally in a sales/B2B environment.

  • Materials handling product knowledge

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Language skills (strong / native)

Bid and Tender writing skills – commercial awareness
