We are growing and looking to hire a Research Assistant.

The Research Assistant is remote position and is responsible for carrying out research-related tasks under the direction of research project directors and/or the Vice President of Research & Innovation.

Essential Job Functions:

Provides support for ongoing research projects including but not limited to:

  • Tracking data and project tasks in spreadsheets

  • Editing and proofreading written materials

  • Assisting with the development of materials

  • Data collection

  • Scoring of assessment protocols

  • Data entry

  • Conducting simple statistical procedures with direction and support

  • Maintaining electronic library

  • General administrative assistance (e.g., taking minutes at meetings, filing, printing)

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Knowledge of research in the area of early language, literacy, and/or math development is desirable

  • Knowledge of educational assessment is desirable, particularly experience with Acadience Reading.

  • Knowledge of G Suite applications is desirable

Experience:

  • Experience working within a research team and/or an educational environment.

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, including Excel and Power Point.

  • Knowledge of Spanish language is desirable.

Education or Certification:

  • Minimum of a bachelor-s degree in education, psychology, or a related field or experience in an educational research setting.

Wilson has identified the anticipated pay range for this role based on the many factors that we consider in defining compensation levels for our roles, including market data, and internal equity considerations. Actual pay, and allocation between base and any target discretionary bonus, will vary based on geographic location, education, work experience, skills, market data, and internal equity considerations.
