LOCATION: Frankfort, IN

Position Summary:

Use advanced skill, knowledge and equipment to repair and maintain machinery, equipment and facilities. Perform electrical, mechanical and other tasks as required. Maintain clean and organized work environment. Perform any and all other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

· Perform advanced services, repairs, adjustment and testing.

· Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment in facility.

· Perform advanced machining, welding and fabrication.

· Dismantle and reassembling machines and machine parts.

· Perform construction and plumbing techniques.

· Trouble shooting and repairing pneumatics and hydraulics.

· Perform advanced fabrication repairs on metal.

· Perform fire safety and other safety requirements such as lock out / tag out.

· Understand and demonstrating proper use of safety equipment and procedures.

· Use fork truck, scissor lifts, and other powered and lifts equipment.

· Know and utilize ohm's law.

· Wiring outlets, lighting, panels and electric hand tools including color code identification.

· Bending and installing conduit.

· Using testing equipment to perform troubleshooting on circuitry and fuses.

· Reading and understanding advanced machine blue prints and schematics and work order and specifications.

· Performing tests on and replacing/adjusting electrical motors and sensors.

· Performing troubleshooting on PLC, variable speed drives etc.

· Rigging techniques and identification of equipment.

· Identifying lubrication systems and differences.

· Collecting and transporting machine parts, tools, equipment, and other materials and communication with or assisting other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.

· Performing advanced welding, running water and air lines, rebuilding pumps and cylinders.

· Performing complex changes on machine/equipment parts as needed and advanced machining.

· Installing, modifying and repairing auxiliary equipment.

· Servicing, repairing and maintaining gas and electric fork truck and other powered equipment.

· Completing all job specific paperwork correctly, including computer systems.

· Ensure safety standards are adhered to at all times.

Skills & Abilities:

Read and understand blueprints.

S trong mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability.

At tention to detail.

Ability to interpret metric and standard dimensions.

Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.

Must be physical fit for job.

Mobile equipment certified (i.e., scissor lift, stand up, sit down, and boom lifts.

Education :

HS diploma is required. Trade certificate preferred.

Experience:

Experience in industrial maintenance preferred.
