Bavarian Inn Restaurant is looking for an experienced Retail Manager to join our Castle Shop team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail operations, guest service, and sales. The Retail Manager will be responsible for overseeing store operations of our Candy & Chocolate Shop as well as our Souvenirs & Cheers Shop. This includes managing staff, developing strategies to increase sales, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to motivate staff, and the ability to develop and implement effective strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage store operations including staffing, scheduling, products, and guest service.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and profits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain inventory control and order new stock as needed.
  • Train and motivate team members to achieve maximum performance.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and make decisions accordingly.
  • Develop relationships with guests to increase loyalty and repeat business.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be 18+ years of age
  • Previous leadership/management experience. Able to manage others.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in business related courses.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in retail sales or related guest service position.
  • Ability to stand/walk continually during 8+ hour shift.
  • Able to lift/push/pull 30-50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Ability to bend at waist and knees; ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Schedule Expectations:

Minimum of 50% of weekends and holidays must be worked. Available to work a variety of shift times including opening, closing, and midday shifts. (Examples may include 8am-5pm, 11am-8pm, 2pm-10pm)
