UnitedHealth Group Behavioral Health Integrated Provider | Psychologist, LICSW or LMHC | Reliant Medical Group in Framingham, Massachusetts

As a part of OptumCare, the largest network of medical groups in the nation, Reliant Medical Group , located in Central Massachusetts, is seeking a ( Full-time or Part-time) Psychologist, LICSW or LMHC to work with our Adult or Pedi populations.

Position Highlights for our Pediatric Provider :

  • Hybrid Model with up to 2 days remote. (Electronic equipment provided for remote work)

  • Provide behavioral health consultation and treatment for pediatric primary care patients ages 0-24.

  • Complete real-time, initial consultations, and scheduled follow-up care as needed

  • Deliver short-term, effective, evidence-based, individual, family, and/or group-based interventions to help children and families achieve targeted behavioral goals

  • Enhance patient engagement by providing brief problem-focused interventions; behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, etc.

  • Provide integrated and team-based care:

  • Collaborate as a member of multi-disciplinary integrated team including prescribers, PCPs, nurses, and medical assistants for the development and delivery of treatment plans

  • Collaborate with various teams (Medical Social Worker, Referral Management, and others) for case management and care coordination purposes.

  • Communicate with collateral contacts including school personnel, community based behavioral health providers, and/or state agency caseworkers, to coordinate behavioral health care in collaboration with the PCP

  • Opportunities to bring your innovative ideas to the table and build specialty work into the position. For example, trauma work, ADHD evaluations, skills-training and therapy groups, early childhood population, etc.

Position Highlights for our Adult Provider :

  • Hybrid Model, 1-2 days on-site and the remaining remote, from your home.

  • (Electronic equipment included.)

  • Provide treatment for primary care patients for behavioral health disorders, symptoms and conditions including substance use disorders.

  • Opportunity for specialty work available: OB/Gyn, women’s issues, neurology, concussion team, ADHD, Diagnostic Team; Ortho, chronic pain and substance use

  • Enhance patient engagement by using evidenced based tools such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.

  • Help implement treatment plans with site specific Integrated Clinician and regional Prescribers (Nurse Practitioners and Psychiatrists).

  • Knowledge of health psychology is preferred.

  • Experience with substance abuse and addiction is preferred.

Required Qualifications:

  • Psychologist or LICSW

  • Unlimited Licensure in the state of Massachusetts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within an integrated model

  • Minimum 3 years practice experience
